Cisco patches multiple internally-found critical flaws in License On-Prem (SSM On-Prem)
Cisco's internal security review of Cisco License On-Prem (formerly Smart Software Manager On-Prem) identified several vulnerability classes, grouped into four CVEs covering missing authentication, improper cryptographic signature verification, insufficiently protected credentials, and code injection. The highest CVSS score reaches 10.0. Cisco has released fixed software; no workarounds exist. No public exploitation is known; issues were found via internal testing, including use of frontier AI models.
